VAR believes that artistic practice is enriched through genuine engagement with place. Residents are encouraged to connect with the local community of Città della Pieve — its artisans, cultural associations, schools and natural landscape.
Past outreach activities have included collaborations with local craftspeople, public interventions in the historic centre, and workshops with community organisations.
