The Residency is built for each artist
VAR's programme is personalised to the objectives and character of each resident. Once invited, the team works jointly with the prospective resident to create the most rewarding experience.
Within an environment of peace and beauty, residents may seek quiet reflection, the freedom to explore new directions and materials, or simply time and space to create.
The residency's central location is ideal for visiting many of Italy's most important cultural centres and artistic treasures — Perugia, Siena, Florence, Orvieto and Rome are all within easy reach.
