The Deighton Family Foundation carries forward the philanthropic vision of The Lord and Lady Deighton. In creating and funding the Vannucci Artist Residency, the Foundation aims to build strong and enduring relationships with participating artists and to positively impact their development and careers.
Lady Alison's passion for contemporary art began over 20 years ago, during which time she established the family's highly regarded collection reflecting a shared commitment to social and political causes. The Deighton Collection now includes important works by contemporary artists from around the world and offers a stimulating look into the ever-evolving issues of our times.
The Vannucci Artist Residency is the Foundation's flagship programme: a space where selected artists reconnect with their creative instincts, and develop new directions in their work.
