Established by the Deighton Family Foundation, the Vannucci Artist Residency (VAR) is a not-for-profit programme dedicated to supporting and enriching the practice of emerging and mid-career artists and art professionals at key stages in their careers. 

VAR’s programme is personalised to the objectives and character of each resident. Once invited, the team works jointly with the prospective resident to create the most rewarding experience.

Within an environment of quiet and beauty, residents may seek quiet reflection, the freedom to explore new directions and materials, or just time and space to create. The residency’s central location is ideal for visiting many of Italy’s most important cultural centres and artistic treasures.
